She was a child as children go.

She laughed, she played, but even so...

She did not know that her life would be

a brief but joyous four plus three.

She had dreams to dream and memories to make,

her life just starting to take shape.

But wait, a pause, for she has gone

to live with angels, to sing their song.

Now she smiles only when we close our eyes.

She runs and plays and waves goodbye.

She now lives where dreams reside...

in heaven's dawn, on the other side.

ZOE NICOLE MARTIN

Born January 24, 2010 to Laura Martin, Zoe immediately became a gift from God to her mom, loving grandparents Linda and Bud, family and friends.  A proud second grade student of Saints Francis and Clare Catholic Church and School and loyal "sister" to her Brownie sisters in her Girl Scout Troop 1062, Zoe excelled in all her studies at school, and she loved laughing and playing with her classmates and friends on the school playground.  Zoe touched so many peoples' lives with her kind heart and gentle spirit.

On October 13, 2017, Zoe suffered severe injuries in an automobile accident that was caused by a reckless driver.  Seven days later, Zoe died from injuries sustained from that crash.  Zoe touched so many people's lives during her short time here on earth with her sweet smile and infectious laughter!  Her family, friends, and classmates cherish the happy memories they have of her.  She is missed by many and will never be forgotten!
